      Hey everyone!

I’m finally planning to check out the Rose Bowl Flea Market in Pasadena next month — I’ve heard it’s one of the biggest and best flea markets in California. 😍

I’m a first-time visitor and wondering if anyone has any tips, parking advice, best times to go, or what to expect from vendors? I’m mainly hunting for vintage clothes, mid-century furniture, and maybe some streetwear gems.

Any recommendations on what time to arrive, what to bring, or how to avoid overpaying? Would love to hear your experiences!

You’re in for a treat — the Rose Bowl Flea Market is a goldmine for vintage lovers and collectors. I’ve gone a few times, and here’s what I’ve learned:

✅ Arrive early — like before 9 AM if you’re serious about good finds. VIP admission starts at 5 AM, and although pricey, it’s worth it if you’re after rare streetwear or designer vintage before it’s picked over. General admission is fine too, but expect crowds.

🚗 Parking is free, but it can get chaotic later in the morning. If you’re not early, expect to walk a bit from your car. Bring cash for entrance and smaller vendors — some do take Venmo,o though.

🛍️ Bring a large tote or a rolling cart if you’re planning on buying heavier stuff like furniture. Also, wear comfy shoes — it’s HUGE and on pavement.

💵 Haggle kindly — most vendors expect it, especially toward the end of the day. But don’t lowball if it’s a rare or high-quality piece.

👕 For streetwear and vintage clothing, stick to the outer rows and near the stadium gates. Mid-century furniture tends to be in the middle vendor areas.

Have fun and pace yourself — it’s overwhelming in the best way possible!

Ah, you’re gonna love it! The Rose Bowl Flea is one of my all-time favorites. 😍

          A few quick tips:

Get there early — I try to be in by 8 AM to beat the crowds and score the good stuff.

Cash is king, but a lot of vendors take Venmo now too.

Wear comfy shoes — it’s massive and you’ll be walking a ton.

Bring a reusable bag or rolling cart if you’re hunting for furniture or bulkier finds.

And don’t be shy to negotiate, just do it respectfully. Most sellers are cool with it!

I’ve found some crazy good vintage jackets and even a pair of deadstock Nikes once. Good luck on the hunt!

You’re gonna love it! I go a few times a year.
Get there early — like 7–8 AM. VIP entry is pricey but worth it for the real gems.
Bring cash, a reusable bag, and water — it gets hot and crowded fast!

Yesss, the furniture selection is 🔥. If you’re after mid-century stuff, head toward the center booths near the stadium curve.
I scored an Eames-style lounger last year for half what it’d go for in LA vintage shops.
And comfy shoes — you’ll walk a marathon without realizing it. 😂

If you’re into streetwear or vintage tees, check the outer aisles by the gates.
I found an OG Stüssy hoodie and a Nirvana bootleg tee there last time.
Don’t be afraid to haggle — just be respectful, most sellers expect it.

Rose Bowl is like Disneyland for thrifters. It’s overwhelming at first, but so worth it.
Also: eat before you go, or hit the food trucks after you shop — lines get wild.
Pro tip: bring a hat and sunscreen — there’s barely any shade!
